Mori HR Directors' Dinner Discussion on Interim Management

Business people descending staircase

On Tuesday 27 September 2005, MORI, on behalf of BIE Interim Executive, hosted a dinner discussion group in a private room at The Savoy, London. The group comprised five senior HR professionals across both the public and private sectors.

Roger Stubbs, MORI’s Deputy Managing Director, led the discussion, using a topic guide devised in consultation with BIE (see appendix).

It should be noted that this report is based on the views of five individuals. While this gives an insight into the thoughts and opinions of senior HR professionals on the issue of interim management, these views cannot be quantified, or necessarily regarded as ‘representative’.

Section one explores the whens and whys of using interims, including a comparison between interims and consultants.
